Terms and conditions of the CKBike electric scooter rental

Using a scooter:

Scooter rental is only possible upon presentation of two of the following documents:

• valid ID card
• valid driver's license
• valid passport

Only a person over the age of 18 can be a lender.

Carefully inspect the scooter for any defects before acceptance. Subsequent complaints will not be taken into account. If you find any defects or deficiencies at the time of use, you are obliged to report them when handing over the scooter.

It is forbidden to make any changes to the scooter without the consent of the landlord. Lending scooters to a person who is not specified in the contract is prohibited. Wash the scooter only with water and a brush or cloth.

Traffic on roads:

The operation of electric scooters on roads in the Czech Republic is governed by MDČR Decree No. 341/2014. (Annex 12, paragraph C). When using it, it is necessary to observe the rules of road traffic as well as when operating a bicycle. The said decree stipulates. Among other things, the following restrictions: the engine power must not exceed 1 kW and the maximum speed must not exceed 25 km / h. The maximum distance traveled guaranteed by the manufacturer is 80 km. The distance traveled depends on the riding conditions, the riding style, the lender's weight and the way the scooter is handled.

The electric scooter is designed primarily for riding on asphalt roads and paved forest or field roads. Due to its construction, the scooter is not intended for riding in open terrain.

Fees :

1. The fee for electric scooters according to the price list is paid on the day of the loan.

2. If you exceed the period for which the rental fee was paid, you are obliged to pay the rental fee according to the applicable rate of the valid price list. Otherwise, if the time limit has already been used up, the money will not be refunded!

Terms and conditions :

Riding a rented scooter is at your own risk and the landlord is not responsible for damage caused by the object he lent on his own property or other movable and immovable objects, or damage caused to other persons throughout the rental, or for the health of the lender throughout the rental.

The Borrower assumes responsibility for all electric scooters specified in the loan agreement signed by him, as well as for persons who use the electric scooters specified in the loan agreement signed by him.

The Lessor is not liable for damages caused by the Lender in cases where a breach of the operating rules of the rental company is found, or non-compliance with the rules of operation on roads. The Lender is liable for damages caused by underestimation of physical abilities and technical fitness in operating the scooter. identification data of the borrower and the lessor, the lease period and a predetermined price. By signing the loan agreement, the Borrower confirms that he has been acquainted with these operating rules of the rental company and that he agrees with the obligations imposed here. Breach of these rental rules by the lender may be considered by the operator as a serious breach of contract, which leads to termination of the loan. If the lender borrows more scooters, eg for persons under 18, the borrower assumes responsibility for all scooters + accessories listed in his signed contract confirmed by his signature, as well as for the persons who use the scooters specified in the contract signed by him, if they are persons under 18 years of age. Persons under 18 years of age will be allowed to borrow only in the presence of a person over 18 years of age in family favor. The scooter is designed to transport only one person. Handing over and lending scooters to a person not specified in the contract is prohibited. and to comply with other binding road traffic rules. Persons under the age of 18 are required by law to wear a properly fitted bicycle helmet while riding. The parents (legal guardian) are fully responsible for persons under the age of 18 during the ride, even when they are not riding a scooter directly and are not under direct supervision. After signing the contract, the borrower assumes all responsibility for the rented item until return the item to the lessor. In the event of a defect or breakage of the scooter, the borrower must transport himself to the place of rental. The landlord is not obliged to transport the scooter together with the borrower. It is forbidden to push the immobile scooter or continue riding. If you intend to move away from the scooter, the borrower is obliged to stop in a safe place from which he will not restrict other road users and secure the scooter against theft through In case of loss or theft, the borrower is obliged to immediately notify the landlord and the police of the Czech Republic No. 158. During the use of the scooter it is forbidden to consume alcohol, narcotics and smoke. If the deadline for returning the borrowed item is not met, the lender is obliged to pay the outstanding rent.

Consent to the processing of personal data:

The Borrower, who provided his personal data and other data within the use of the Borrower's services, grants this Lessor his express consent to the provisions of Section 5 of Act No. 101/2000 Coll., On Personal Data Protection and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended, with processing The Borrower grants consent to the processing of personal data and other data to the Landlord for an indefinite period, and this consent may be revoked by the Borrower at any time, in the form of a registered letter addressed to the Borrower's registered office. in the provisions of § 11 and § 21 of Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the protection of personal data and on the amendment of certain acts, as amended. in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on free movement movement of such data (GDPR), for the purpose of their use in the exercise of rights and obligations in connection with the purchase contract. The consent is limited in time and substance in the sense of this handover protocol.

Compensation for damages:

In case of loss of the scooter or any part or supplement, the borrower is obliged to pay compensation in the amount specified in the price list.

The amount of damage caused is determined according to the valid price list.

The damage is covered when returning the scooter.

By signing the loan agreement, the Borrower undertakes to comply with the operating rules and contractual conditions of the rental company in full.
